These Terms govern your use of the EU Guarantee & Warranty Label Shopify app ("the app"), published by Consentico. By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

The service

The app helps Shopify merchants display the mandatory EU legal guarantee notice and, where applicable, the official GARAN durability label, in line with Regulation (EU) 2025/1960 and related guidance.

Not legal advice

The app is a compliance tool, not a substitute for legal advice. You are responsible for confirming that a product qualifies for the GARAN label (the producer's guarantee covers the whole product, is free of charge, lasts more than two years, and is made known to the buyer) and for the accuracy of the durability information you enter. We render the official artwork based on the information and confirmations you provide.

Plans and billing

The mandatory legal guarantee notice is free for unlimited products. Paid features (unlimited GARAN, bulk tools, PDF proof, coverage monitoring) are billed through Shopify's Billing API. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from within the app; downgrading takes effect per Shopify's billing terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to display false or misleading guarantee information.

Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update the app and these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.
